We aim to draw upon the rich set of knowledge and curiosities about the world acquired from Latinx students鈥� lived experiences, as well as from the insight they gain from their families and communities, to enhance the education experiences of all 91吃瓜 students, regardless of background.

The 91吃瓜 Story Begins with People

Founded in 1857, San Jos茅 State's history began before the Civil War, as the first State Normal School, which trained teachers who educated the people of a young California. Now, 91吃瓜 is a dynamic comprehensive university that anchors the 10th largest city in the United States, and Spartans are found around the globe.
