Grow a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting students, faculty, and staff to develop and translate University creations and expand the impact of 91³Ô¹Ï Research and Innovation.

To become a valued and sustainable resource for developing and translating 91³Ô¹Ï innovation into products, services, and new companies that dive research and provide economic and social benefit.

Strategic Goals

1. Enhance translation of 91³Ô¹Ï innovation through effective intellectual property management services (Intellectual Property Management)
2. Expand entrepreneurship culture and opportunities across 91³Ô¹Ï that help 91³Ô¹Ï-affiliated entrepreneurs start and build successful companies (SpartUp Incubator and Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center)
3. Develop and grow relationships with industry for research & development programs (Industry Alliances)
4. Create sustainable programmatic growth of OI initiatives by leveraging grant funding and creating programs that support donor-based funding initiatives
5. Develop work practices that address core customer needs and result in an outstanding customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations
